19. Public Access: There is no record of a designated public access that traverses the <br /> property. <br /> 20. Traffic: According to the applicant, traffic generated from the proposed subdivision is <br /> expected to be minimal. <br /> PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br /> 21. Access: Access to the property is proposed from Kaloko Drive and Mahi Street. both <br /> 22-foot wide paved roadway with 8-foot grass shoulders within an 80-foot right-of--way <br /> according to the applicant. Kaloko Drive intersects with the Mamalahoa Highway less <br /> than two miles below the property. The Department of Public Works has recommended <br /> that vehicular access to Kaloko Drive be limited to one common driveway approach. <br /> 22. Water: According to the Department of Water Supply, water can be made available <br /> from an existing 8-inch waterline along Kaloko Drive. <br /> 23. Wastewater: The applicant uses individual wastewater systems meeting the standards <br /> and requirements of the State Department of Health. <br /> 24. Essential Utilities and Services: Utilities are available to the site from poles along <br /> Kaloko Drive. The azea is served by police and fire stations in Kailua and Kealakehe, <br /> approximately five miles southwest of the site.
