However, due to a longstanding commitment, I will not be able to attend this meeting. Nevertheless, as it is the Committee's practice to have the Planning Department present the application to the Committee, I suspect that most, if not all, questions relating to this request can be answered by the Department personnel. As such, we would appreciate your having this matter considered and acted upon. Hopefully, it would be a favorable recommendation. I would then be in a position to answer any residual questions during the Council's consideration of this matter at its meeting of October 20. Please note that all of the conditions recommended by the Planning Director and Planning Commission have been reviewed and accepted by the applicant.
