The property is located at the northwest corner of <br /> <br /> Kupulau Street and Koaniani Street intersection, adjacent to (Puna side) Kahalani Estates <br /> Subdivision at Waiakea Homesteads 2nd Series, Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, TMK: 2-4- <br /> 65:4. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1. Land Ownership: The landowner of the subject property is Neil K. Aoki. By letter of <br /> authorization on file, Neil K. Aoki has granted permission For Hakalau Farms, Ltd. to <br /> apply for the subject applications. <br /> APPLICANT'S REQUEST <br /> 2. Request: The applicant is requesting the Urban District and Single Family Residential <br /> (RS-15) designation in order to create atwenty-six (26) lot residential subdivision with <br /> minimum lot sizes of 15,000 square feet. <br /> 3. Subdivision Conceptual Plan: Nine of the lots are proposed to have direct access off of <br /> Koaniani Street, and the remaining seventeen lot will access off of two cul-de-sacs. The <br /> cul-de-sacs (identified as Road Lot "A" and Road Lot "B") will be designed and <br /> constructed to County dedicatee standazds and aze proposed to be dedicated to the County <br /> upon the satisfactory completion of the construction and inspection by the County. Road <br /> "A" is approximately 210 feet long within a 50-foot right-of--way, and Road "B" is <br /> approximately 560 feet long within a 50-foot right-of--way. <br /> 4. Additional Information: The applicant has submitted a Stale Land Use Boundary <br /> Amendment and Change of Zone application for the requests, including a letter dated <br /> Attach.
