Public Access: According to the applicant, there is no record of a designated public <br /> <br /> access to the shoreline or mountain areas that traverses the property. <br /> PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br /> <br /> 24. Access: Access to the project site is proposed from Lanikaula Street, a County roadway <br /> with an approximately 50-foot right-of-way, and pavement width of 20 feet. There is a <br /> <br /> section of sidewalk fronting a commercial/industrial complex approximately 500 feet <br /> west of the property at the corner of Lanikaula and Laukapu Streets. The applicant has <br /> <br /> stated that, if required, sidewalks will be constructed in front of the site. <br /> 25. Water: According to the applicant, it is anticipated that a 5/8-inch meter would be <br /> <br /> sufficient for the proposed use. The applicant will install an additional or larger meter <br /> and a backflow preventer, if required. <br /> <br /> 26. Wastewater: The project will connect to the County's sewer line. <br /> 27. Solid Waste: Solid waste will be handled by commercial haulers. If required, a Solid <br /> <br /> Waste Management Plan will be prepared. <br /> 28. Essential Utilities and Services: Electricity and telephone services are available to the <br /> <br /> site. Three County fire stations and emergency medical services are available to the <br /> property.
