4 <br /> right-of--way. <br /> 20. Traffic: The Department of Public Works has concerns regazding the heavy traffic and <br /> congestion in the vicinity of the subject property. Parking at the Waiakea Kai Shopping <br /> Plaza, which includes a movie theater and various retail outlets, is very limited due to the <br /> lack of on-site pazking, and theater patrons aze using the limited street pazking on <br /> Kalanikoa and Kuawa Streets. The Department of Public Works has allowed some on- <br /> street pazking on both sides of Kuawa Street fronting the subject property. <br /> 21. Water: Water can be made available to the site from existing 8-inch waterlines along <br /> Kalanikoa and Kuawa Street fronting the property with a connection size subject to <br /> review and approval during the construction design phase of the proposed development. <br /> 22. Wastewater: The applicant intends to connect to the main sewer line beneath Kalanikoa <br /> Street. <br /> 23- Draimmage: According to the applicant, there aze eleven (11) drywells and two (2) <br /> drainage easements on the subject property. <br /> 24 Protective Services: The subject property is within the City of Hilo limits and in close <br /> proximity to police, fire protection and emergency medical services. Fire and emergency <br /> services are provided by the Waiakea Fire Station which is located approximately two (2) <br /> miles to the east of the subject property. <br /> .2a.
