4 right-of--way. 20. Traffic: The Department of Public Works has concerns regazding the heavy traffic and congestion in the vicinity of the subject property. Parking at the Waiakea Kai Shopping Plaza, which includes a movie theater and various retail outlets, is very limited due to the lack of on-site pazking, and theater patrons aze using the limited street pazking on Kalanikoa and Kuawa Streets. The Department of Public Works has allowed some on- street pazking on both sides of Kuawa Street fronting the subject property. 21. Water: Water can be made available to the site from existing 8-inch waterlines along Kalanikoa and Kuawa Street fronting the property with a connection size subject to review and approval during the construction design phase of the proposed development. 22. Wastewater: The applicant intends to connect to the main sewer line beneath Kalanikoa Street. 23- Draimmage: According to the applicant, there aze eleven (11) drywells and two (2) drainage easements on the subject property. 24 Protective Services: The subject property is within the City of Hilo limits and in close proximity to police, fire protection and emergency medical services. Fire and emergency services are provided by the Waiakea Fire Station which is located approximately two (2) miles to the east of the subject property. .2a.
