The <br /> prior council undertook an honorable effort to both assemble a new draft and to defer its further <br /> consideration -upon the request of many, including newly utstalled council members - to this new <br /> council Germ. Havutg done so, I implore you to set aside the spin and rhetoric of the campaign <br /> season and, instead, take up the roal work of governing in roasonable, economical prose. <br /> My sense is that we're not so far apart on many key issues that we can't devote the last leg of our <br /> efforts to a final draft we can all support.
