Hton, ASLA <br /> Assocure <br /> xsvua xu[~AwA.ASLA Previously, myself and members of JDI's planning team had the good fortune to <br /> Ac9acure meet with the individual members of the Planning Committee to review JDI's <br /> planned development at Honokohau Harbor, so I won't take up your time today <br /> going over these plans, but did want to take this opportunity to emphasize the <br /> importance of the requested amendments to the County General Plan as a <br /> necessary step in the required entitlement process for the planned development of <br /> the harbor and State lands surrounding it. <br /> Se <br /> We are submitting for your reference two previous letters from the prior <br /> Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources (BLNR) to the County <br /> Council Planning Committee and a more recent November 30, 2004 letter to <br /> Mayor Harry Kim from BLNR Chairperson, Peter Young, regarding the requested <br /> ~i„.` revisions to the County General Plan. <br /> it <br /> JDI has entered into along-term lease agreement with DHHL to develop their <br /> p' lands and that BLNR has selected and initiated lease negotiations with JDI to <br /> ''i'' ~ ' develop the remaining lands that include the planned harbor expansion area and <br /> '3~8 adjacent State lands. JDI's planned development for the project site seeks to <br /> ~ !
