I have been askcel <br /> to maintain loesl fishing access points to various sites that were mandated in County <br /> development approvals. Inmost cases misunderstandings have been taken care uf. IIFN <br /> serves as the voice for thousands of fishermen statewide, many from Hawaii County who <br /> may be your neighlH>rs and friends. Bill 356 will be heard before the Phuming <br /> Committee of the Council tomorrow, February 1, 2005 at 1:30 P:M. The hearing has <br /> alroady been postponed once. <br /> 1 am sorry to write so late, but I just found out the Phuuting Committee hearing date, I <br /> am not fully aware of all the issues in Bill 356, but nm familiar with the area attd have <br /> fished at the point many times as a child and adult. Continental Pacific promised local <br /> residents at informational meetings, public access to the shoreline for fishing and picnics. <br /> I write to inlurm you the access toad together with the lateral shoreline access road have <br /> bean blocked oft.
