BA K ROUND <br /> 10. Chris Yuen has been the dually appointed Planning <br /> Director of the County of Hawaii since December of 2001. <br /> 11. Chris Yuen has a professional degree in Law and <br /> was a practicing attorney prior to being appointed Planning <br /> Director. <br /> 12. The Planning Director negotiated a settlement <br /> agreement with Continental Pacific, LLC on behalf of the <br /> Planning Department to resolve a dispute at the Board of <br /> Appeals concerning use of pre-existing parcels of record. <br /> 13. Continental Pacific, LLC appealed the Planning <br /> Director's non-recognition of house lots from the former <br /> mill camp at Pepeekeo and other camps as pre-existing <br /> parcels of record for use in a consolidation resubdivision <br /> of Continental Pacific, LLC's lands. <br /> 14. The April 12, 2002 Settlement Agreement For Board <br /> of Appeals and Subdivision, of Continental Pacific, LLC <br /> Lands, hereafter referred to as "Subdivision Agreement" or <br /> "Settlement Agreement" interchangeably, was executed by the <br /> Planning Director, Deputy Corporation Counsel, Mayor of <br /> Hawaii County, and Continental Pacific, LLC. <br /> 15. The Subdivision Agreement is more then just a <br /> <br /> compromise agreement settling out entitlement issues <br /> 4 <br /> <br />
