AGING <br />AGING <br />Non -Contracted Services (continued) <br />b. Provide all clients assisted the opportunity to access the Internet via a computer <br />work station within the Caregiver Resource Center of which at least 50% of <br />clients assisted will respond favorably indicating increased knowledge of the <br />caregiver. <br />80% of clients and caregivers that accessed the Internet acknowledged the <br />increased knowledge and understanding of their situation or are better <br />informed about the condition of the person in their care. <br />c. Provide all workshop and conference participants the opportunity to evaluate the <br />usefulness and effectiveness of the information covered at 3 training sessions <br />relating to caregiver issues of which at least 70% of participants will respond <br />favorably. <br />99% of workshop and conference attendees responded favorably to the <br />usefulness and effectiveness of the information provided in the various <br />training sessions. <br />Community -Based Planning. <br />a. Provide nine community councils the opportunity to organize, assess, plan and <br />implement strategies to address their local issues of which at least 5 community - <br />driven, health and safety related projects will be planned and/or implemented. <br />3 community driven, health and safety related projects were implemented in <br />FY 2004 and completed by December 31, 2004: <br />Emergency Flashers, Smoke Alarms, Hamakua, North Hilo and <br />and First Aid Kits North Kohala <br />60% (3) community driven, health and safety related projects were planned <br />and implemented as of December 31, 2004: <br />Wellness Classes Ka`u and South Kona <br />Personal Emergency Response System South Hilo <br />b. Provide community partners the opportunity to evaluate collaborative approaches <br />of which at least 30 community partners will report that they believe in <br />collaborative approaches and that collaborative ventures were successful. <br />Information not available at this time.
