COUNTY OF HAWAII 'i~!~I; ; STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 84 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 <br /> EDITION) RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-267, schedule 15 (One way streets), <br /> subsection (f), Kona, item (3) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended to read as <br /> <br /> follows: <br /> (3) Sarona Road in Kailua-Kona. All vehicular traffic shall move in the [mauka] <br /> easterly direction [between Alii Drive and Kuakini Highway] from Ali'i Drive to a <br /> point approximately two hundred feet west of Kuakini Highway. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-269, schedule 17 (Right turns only), <br /> subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended to add the following <br /> <br /> to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> SARONA ROAD. east bound. at Kuakini Highway. <br /> SECTION 3 Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-271, schedule 19 (Prohibited left turn <br /> areas), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended to add the <br /> <br /> following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> KUAKINI HIGHWAY. north bound at Sarona Road. <br /> SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing <br /> <br /> this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 5. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or <br /> circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the <br /> ordinance that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the <br /> provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> <br />
