COUNTY OF HAWAII ~;i, STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 84 ORDINANCE NO. OS 90 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION) RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-267, schedule 15 (One way streets), subsection (f), Kona, item (3) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended to read as follows: (3) Sarona Road in Kailua-Kona. All vehicular traffic shall move in the [mauka] easterly direction [between Alii Drive and Kuakini Highway] from Ali'i Drive to a point aaaroximately two hundred feet west of Kuakini Highway. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-269, schedule 17 (Right turns only), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended to add the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: SARONA ROAD. east bound. at Kuakini Highway. SECTION 3 Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-271, schedule 19 (Prohibited left turn areas), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended to add the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: KUAKINI HIGHWAY, north bound at Sarona Road. SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 5. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
