r
This single act has cost the county dearly in legal fees, while Mr Norrie
who is highly versed in manipulating the letter of the law has only gained from it.
Now, we, the current residents of ka'awaloa subdivision are experiencing dejavu
in dealing with Mr Norrie regarding the two subdivisions be wishes to attach to
his first one.
Initially he approached us as a bully, threatening to utilize the full easement
of our road ff we attempted to THWART his ambitions. In a blitzkrieg of lobbying he
resorted to Meats, dubious promises, misinformation, and outright coercion to
intimidate us into virtual silence at the planning department hearing.
Shortly thereafter he began to back offfrom any GUARANTEES and assurances
becoming disconcertingly vague about his plans for the fifty acres below
Seamount. After much evasion and equivocation he has finally stated that he will not
relinquish access to this subdivision via our substandard road.
I have brought with me the plans for this end run that he is attempting. They
illustrate access toa~t
lots via Ka'awaloa road, and one that is between this
subdivision and Seamount itself. Looking at the Seamount map one can clearly see
how it's cull de sack could continue on across this central lot into the lower ones.
Put succinctly, the map says he will use Ka'awaloa road for his fifty acres,
while he says he will keep the access via the two upper subdivisions.
I predict that if Seamount is approved as is there will be trouble down the
road. I have known this man for twelve years, I conclude with this advice:
DON'T TRUST HIM!
