AND NAPUA DELIMA have submitted an application for a <br /> Change of Zone for 45,800 square feet of land from a Single Family Residential - 10,000 <br /> square foot (RS-10) to a Limited Industrial - 20,000 square foot (ML-20) district. The <br /> properties are located at the southwestern corner of the Kalanikoa Street - Hualani Street <br /> intersection, Waiakea Houselots, South Hilo, Hawaii, TMK: 2-2-35: 9 and 10. <br /> APPLICANT'S REQUEST <br /> l . Request: The applicants are requesting a Change of Zone for 45,800 square feet <br /> of land from aSingle-Family Residential - 10,000 square foot (RS-10) to a <br /> Limited Industrial - 20,000 square foot (ML-20) district in order to relocate their <br /> plumbing business. The applicants have been notified that their current lease at <br /> 190 Kuawa Street will be terminated in March of 2006. The applicants would <br /> prefer to construct a new facility on property they already own rather than find <br /> another facility to lease or purchase. The applicants intend to consolidate the two <br /> existing parcels and will demolish the existing structures. Anew 12,800 square <br /> foot (80' x 160') steel-framed structure will be constructed. <br /> 2. Construction Timeframe and Cost: The projected completion date for <br /> construction is March of 2006. The estimated cost of the project is approximately <br /> $600,000. <br /> 3. Number of Employees: The applicants will have approximately 10 employees <br /> associated with the plumbing business. <br /> <br /> 4. Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30p.m., Monday through Friday. <br /> 5. Supportive Information: The applicants, who are the listed owners of the <br /> properties, have submitted the following in support of their request.
