REQUEST: <br /> To amend the County Code Section 24-20 to reflect changes to the Motor vehicle driver's permit and <br /> license fees. This increase adds the following section: <br /> (o) Provisional license valid till age 19, $5 per year <br /> This fee increase will become effective January q, 2006. <br /> This is new license program was established per Act 72 which may eventually replace the driver license <br /> with permit for 4 years. It requires an annual review by DOT and DOH of relevant data to determine the <br /> effectiveness of this program in reducing traffic fatalities and accidents in the State.
