PETITION TO <br /> HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the County of Hawaii is planning to change the school day one way pattern on <br /> Waianuenue to begin at Komohana Street and end at Laimana Street, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS people using Waianuenue Street going north will turn onto Laimana Street during <br /> the one way period, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS people wishing to continue up Waianuenue will probably turn onto Alae Street to <br /> go up to Komohana Street, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the new pattern will substantially increase the traffic on Alae Street between <br /> Laimana and Haili during the one way period, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS there are children, elderly and pets living on this block, and <br /> WHEREAS there are no sidewalks on this block, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the increased traffic will put the residents and pets of Alae Street at risk and create <br /> traffic congestion on Alae Street, <br /> NOW THEREFORE we the undersigned residents of the block of Alae Street between <br /> Laimana and Halai, in order to protect our children, elderly, and pets do <br /> hereby petition the County of Hawaii to either (1) maintain the current pattern, <br /> (2) eliminate the one way pattern altogether, or (3) make Alae Street one way <br /> from Haiti to Laimana during the one way period. <br /> NAME ADDRESS <br /> try <br /> ~iiir~rc,~( I f ~r~=~~~~r <br /> ~~~G/ ~7rJU~i•9 i iG Fi <br /> i~ C . <br /> Z'~Y.GR '~Y1'J <br /> I <br /> <br />
