This park is heavily used during the weekends and evenings, and the <br /> only restroom facility for park users is located in the Stanley Costales Waiakea-Uka Gym, which <br /> is not always available for public use. Past appropriations for this project have totaled $140,000; <br /> however, additional funds are needed to speed up the bidding process. Bids have been coming in <br /> high, so additional funds would allow smaller contractors to also bid on the job. <br /> Funds for this project will come from the Clerk-Council Services Contingency Relief account <br /> (Council District 3 discretionary funds). <br /> <br /> As per Article 10, Section 10-6 of the Hawaii County Charter, your recommendations to the <br /> proposed amendment will be greatly appreciated. <br /> <br /> Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by May 12, 2006. <br /> <br /> Si er <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> James .
