Project Description: The subject property is a 21.389 acre parcel <br /> <br /> located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Huehue Street <br /> and Kaloko Drive at approximately the 5000 feet elevation. It is <br /> <br /> identified as Lot 5, Block 12, Increment 5 (File Plan 1434), being a <br /> portion of R.P. 8214, L.C. Aw. 7715, Ap. I 1 to Lota Kamehameha, at <br /> <br /> Kaloko, North Kona, Island and County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii. <br /> The property is heavily forested with slopes of 6-20%.The mean <br /> <br /> annual rainfall according to USGS Report R-47 is approximately 70 <br /> inches. <br /> <br /> <br /> b. Statement of objectives and reasons for the request: The owners <br /> <br /> propose to subdivide the existing lot into two lots approximately 10+ <br /> acres in size. Currently there is one dwelling constructed on proposed <br /> <br /> Lot 5-B on the property. Please see the site plan in the exhibits. These <br /> lots are intended to be residential/agricultural lots for the owners. <br /> <br /> Thomas Shockley, a co-owner, is the applicant. <br /> <br /> <br /> c.
