REQUEST: <br /> <br /> Amend Ordinance 05-87, the Capital Budget by adding the following appropriation: <br /> <br /> Construction, Maintenance, & Repair of County Roads - State $2,000,000 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> HB 2423 HD1 SD1 Relating to the State Highway Fund approved at the State Legislature and is pending <br /> the Governor's approval, will authorize the use of State Highway Funds for the road systems of the <br /> county for FY 2005-2006. This $2 million operating funds authorization (S-06-305-W) will lapse on <br /> June 30, 2006 per Act 178, SLH 2005. Therefore, funds must be expended and/or encumbered by <br /> June 30, 2006. <br /> We are requesting an appropriation in the Capital Projects Fund to account for the reimbursable <br /> expenditures.
