AS AMENDED), RELATING TO SEWER PUMP STATION. BE I'f ORDAINED BY TILE COUNCIL OP THE COTJNTY OF IIAWAEI: SEC'T'ION 1. Purpose. A sewer pump station is not specitically mentioned as a permitted use in any of the zoning district. Such a facility is normally a necessary function of a larger development; and therefore, should be permitted within the various zoning districts under the category of public and private utilities. SECTION 2. Chapter 25, article 4, section 25-4-1 1, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) is amended to read as follows: "Section 25-4-ll. Power lines;], utility substations[;], public buildings. (a) Communication, transmission, and power lines of public and private utilities and governmental agencies are permitted uses within any district. (b) Any substation used by a public or urivate utility for the purpose of furnishing telephone, gas, electricity, water, sewer radio, or television shall be a permitted use in any district provided that the use is not hazardous or dangerous to the surrounding area and the director has issued plan approval for such use. (c) Public uses, structures and buildings and community buildings are permitted uses in any district, provided that the director has issued plan approval for such use." SF,CTION 3.
