Mtr or y~ <br /> 66g <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> n e. <br /> BILL NO. 267 <br /> I~r~ft 2 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25,'I~HE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING 7~0 SEWER PUMP STATION. <br /> I3E IT ORDAINED BY THG COUNCII. OP THE COUN"1'Y OF HAWAII: <br /> SF,CTION 1. Purpose. A sewer pump station is not specifically mentioned as a <br /> <br /> permitted use in any of the zoning district. Such a facility is normally a necessary function of a <br /> lamer development; and therefore, should be permitted within the various zoning districts under <br /> <br /> the category of public and private utilities. <br /> SEC"1~ION 2. Chapter 25, article 4, section 25-4-1 1, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 <br /> Edition, as amended) is amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 25-4-1 1. Power lines(;, utility substations[;], public buildings. <br /> (a) Communication, transmission, and power lines of public and private utilities and <br /> governmental agencies are permitted uses within any district. <br /> (b) Any substation used by a public or private utility for the purpose of furnishing <br /> telephone, gas, electricity, water, sewer, radio, or television shall be a permitted <br /> use in any district providcd that the use is not hazardous or dangerous to the <br /> surrounding area and the director has issued plan approval for such use. <br /> (c) Public uses, structures and buildings and community buildings are permitted uses <br /> in any district, provided that the director has issued plan approval for such use." <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need <br /> not be included. <br /> <br />
