WHEREAS, the council wishes to amend its rules by amending Rule No. 2, paragraph <br /> 1, relating to Regular Meetings, to read as follows: <br /> RULE NO. 2 <br /> MEETINGS <br /> "1. Regular Meetings. Except as otherwise provided, the Council shall meet <br /> regularly at least twice in every month beginning at 9:00 A.M. in the Council Meeting <br /> Room at the County building, Hilo, Hawaii, on the first and third Wednesday of each <br /> month, or at other places and/or times designated by the Council ~«~~~'~'a <br /> !',-....,.:I ..7...11 .....,.,d ..t 1,.....t ,.....w,-«l., N.~.:.. Y....., <br /> °~a a~°~~-~,..,.,, 7-° T Provided, however, that effective <br /> January 1, 2007, the county council shall hold regular meetinQS in East Hawaii on odd- <br /> numbered months (January, March, May, July, September and November) and shall hold <br /> regular meetings in West Hawaii on even-numbered months (February, April, June, <br /> Aueust, October and December). This meeting schedule shall remain in effect at least <br /> through the 2007 calendar year. This schedule may be subiect to review in December <br /> 2007, at the discretion of the Council. VideoconferencinQ shall be provided for all ' <br /> regular meetings of the Council held in West Hawaii. Notwithstanding Section 3-7, <br /> Hawaii County Charter, the second regular meeting of the Council may be in a location <br /> other than Hilo." <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY <br /> OF HAWAII, that amendment to Rule 2, paragraph 1, relating to Regular Meetings, is hereby <br /> <br /> adopted. <br /> 2 <br /> <br />
