Description and Location <br /> <br /> ~ The 530-acre project site of the proposed Kona Kai Ola is located in Kealakehe, North <br /> Kona, on the island of Hawaii as shown in Figure A. The site is owned by the State of <br /> ' Hawaii, and includes Tax Map Key, (TMK) parcels, as illustrated in Figure B. Figure C <br /> ~ contains ownership information, which is summarized as follows. <br /> ? DHHL owns 200 acres identified as TMK 7-4-008:072. <br /> ? DLNR owns TMKs 7-4-008:071 and 7-4-008:003 consisting of approximately <br /> 330 acres. This area includes approximately 40 acres of Kealakehe Parkway <br /> proposed right-of--way within the project area. <br /> The project also includes approximately 22 acres of land to potentially be used for the <br /> proposed Kealakehe Parkway extension south through Queen Liliuokalani Trust lands. <br /> ,r This parkway extension is subject to future negotiations and agreements with Queen <br /> Liliuokalani Trust. <br /> w <br /> ~ June 2006 2 <br /> • <br /> <br />
