Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the Hawaii County <br /> General Plan in accordance with Section 3-15, Hawaii County Charter, and Section 16.2 Interim <br /> Amendments, Hawaii County General Plan adopted by Ordinance No. OS 25. <br /> SECTION 2. The attached document includes amendments to the text, policies, courses <br /> of action, Land Use Pattern Allocation Guide (LUPAG) Map, and Facilities Map. LUPAG <br /> Amendment E-4 shall not be constmed to authorize a resort, because a resort would be a separate <br /> LUPAG Map designation. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In re- <br /> printing the General Plan, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be <br /> included. <br /> SECTION 4. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such <br /> invalidity shall not affect other provisions of this ordinance. <br /> SECTION 5.
