This position is essential to achieve the departmental goal of providing <br /> improvements to County roads, flood control and public service facilities to support the <br /> public's transportation and safety needs in a timely manner. The purpose of this position is <br /> to increase the Department of Public Works' ability to deliver Capital Improvement Program <br /> (CIP) projects and design services for its Highway Maintenance, Traffic, and Building <br /> Divisions since there is an anticipated steady source of CIP funding combined with Fuel Tax <br /> revenues to back future proposed projects.
