BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> New projects such as Safety Improvement Projects, redesign of existing roadway geometrics, and pavement <br /> resurfacing are requiring installation of new signage and thermoplastic reflective markings. This funding will <br /> come from the Highway Balance Fund and possibly councilmember's discretionary funds to cover projects <br /> that are unanticipated at time of budget preparation.
