Bowles is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. Since 1969, he <br /> has been employed by Island Resources as a hydro-geologist. Mr. Bowles is a member <br /> of the Waimea Community Association's Traffic Safety Committee, Planning Committee <br /> and Community Planned Development Committee. He is also a member of the Waimea <br /> Water Round Table. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Bowles served as a member of this <br /> commission, representing Council District 9. He states that he is not affiliated with any <br /> political party. If confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2010. <br /> Council District 7 - Mr. Bill Rosehill is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He is a retired land <br /> manager/forester. Mr. Rosehill is the president of the Kona Athletic Club, a member of <br /> the Hawaiian Canoe Racing Association and a board member of Moku O Hawai'i. He <br /> states that he is not affiliated with any political party.
