REQUEST: <br /> <br /> Prepare a resolution for Council's authorization to receive and expend state funding for non-school hour <br /> programs for children and youth. <br /> <br /> Appropriate these State funds of $52,000 to Non-School Hour Programs. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The State of Hawai'i Legislature enacted Act 281 at its regular 2006 session which appropriated $400,000 for <br /> non-school hour programs for children and youth enrolled in school.
