I will be at the meeting on Nov. 28th to answer questions
about this bill.
I would like to request that the council amend Bill 231 by eliminating the requirement in
sec. 25-6-61(g) that a scenic corridor be at least three miles long. It has been suggested
that this unnecessarily restricts potential scenic corridors. The actual decision about the
length of a particular scenic corridor can be left to the time when the corridor is created.

Sincerely,

CHRISTOPHER EN
Planning Director

CJY:pak
Wpwin60/Chris2/Pilago - Scenic Corridor Bill 231

cc: Mr. Chuck Flaherty
Ms. Nancy Pisicchio
Comm.
