No. 454-06 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 11:00 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred <br /> Resolution No. 454-06, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 454-06, transmitted by Assistant Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase via <br /> Communication No. 1066, dated September 6, 2006, authorizes acceptance of real property <br /> identified as being a portion of TMK No. (3)2-4-012:008, containing an azea of 86 square feet, <br /> located at Waialcea Homesteads, First Series, Waiakea, District of South Hilo, Island, County and <br /> State of Hawaii. <br /> The owner, Keiki Aina 1, LLC, is desirous of transferring the subject real property to the County <br /> of Hawaii for road widening purposes. <br /> Article XIII, § 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council may accept land on <br /> behalf of the County of Hawaii. <br /> There was no testimony from members of the public regarding the proposed acceptance. <br /> There was no discussion amongst your Committee members regazding the proposed acceptance. <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose <br /> and intent of Resolution No. 454-06 and recommends its adoption. <br /> awm <br /> AYES NOES A&E EX Respectfully submitted, <br /> ARAKAKI R <br /> HIGH X COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS AND <br /> HOFFMANN x INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS <br /> HOLSCHUH X ~ _ ~ <br /> IKEDA X ~.~SO'i..
