It goes against the very law enacted by this Council, and the Council is or <br /> should be obligated at least to follow the simplest and basic intent of the law <br /> that it passed; <br /> 2. The intent of the Council and the purpose of the Planning Commission is <br /> <br /> to gather information and make thoughtful recommendation on behalf of the <br /> public interest, not on behalf of personal interests; <br /> 3. That practical considerations of additional traffic, of potentially 48 more <br /> cars on a road that barely accommodates two cars, with no sidewalks, no <br /> drainage, no increased security, no improved common grounds for parking <br /> and potential of increased noise levels, and no future plan to make such <br /> improvements and no clout of the council to follow through to make such <br /> <br /> improvements a requirements is unacceptable and inefficacious. <br /> <br /> I ask you to do the right thing by the neighborhood, by the people of the <br /> community, and do the right thing in the best interests of the intent of the <br /> law and the General Plan. <br />
