Replace course of action (c) as follows: <br />(c) ]A realignment of Highway 200 (Saddle Road) from the Forest Reserve <br />boundary on the south side of Kaumana Drive and along the north side of <br />Puainako Street, intersecting the present Puainako alignment at Kinoole Street <br />and continuing to the intersection of Kanoelehua Avenue should be <br />constructed. Limited access control is recommended with intersections at the <br />major cross arterials serving the various areas of the city.] Improve Puainako <br />Street from Kanoelehua Avenue to Komohana Street. <br />B. Delete courses of action (i) and 0) and re -alphabetize subsequent courses of action as <br />follows: <br />(i) Plan for the eventual closure of the Bayfront Highway and the relocation of <br />the existing Highway 19-Pauahi Street intersection to an area in the vicinity of <br />Ponahawai Street, in coordination with the State. <br />[j Ainako Street should extend across Kaumana Drive to meet the Mohouli <br />extension to provide one of the major mauka cross -city connections.] <br />[k]ift Improve Akolea Road between Piihonua and Kaumana Drive and construct its <br />extension to the upper reaches of Ainaola Drive to provide a cross -city <br />connection between Upper Wailuku and Waiakea-Uka. <br />[l](k) Improve Waianuenue Avenue and Kaumana Drive along their entire <br />alignments, including the acquisition of additional rights-of-way as needed. <br />6.
