The <br /> property is located on the west side of Haleamau Street, approximately 1,200 feet north of the <br /> <br /> Kaloko Drive - Haleamau Street intersection, Kaloko Mauka Subdivision, Kaloko, North Kona, <br /> <br /> Hawaii, TMK: 7-3-26: 17. <br /> <br /> PROPOSED ACTION <br /> 1. Request: Change of Zone from A-20a to A-l0a to subdivide the property into two <br /> parcels approximately ten acres in size to be used as residential/agricultural lots. The <br /> applicant proposes to construct a dwelling on one of the newly created lots. The dwelling <br /> is estimated to cost approximately $400,000. GP LUPAG Map: Important Agricultural Land. <br /> 5. County Zoning: Agricultura120-acre (A-20x). <br /> 6. Coastal Zone Management, HRS, Chapter 205A: The entire State of Hawaii lies <br /> within the Coastal Zone Management Area. The property is located approximately nine <br /> (9) miles mauka of the shoreline at the 3,600-foot elevation level and therefore, will not <br /> be impacted by coastal hazazd and beach erosion. <br /> 7. Special Management Area (SMA): The Special Management Area is a part of the <br /> Coastal Zone Management Program and regulated by the County. The property is not <br /> located within the Special Management Area. According to the applicant, the proposed <br /> use will not negatively affect recreational resources, historic resources, public access to <br /> the shoreline or mountain areas, scenic and open space preserves, coastal ecosystems, <br /> marine resources or other natural and environmental resources in the azea. <br /> ATTACH: Cortm. 89 <br /> Bill 29 <br /> <br />
