HOSPITAL <br /> HOSPITAL <br /> <br /> A hospital is a freestanding institution where the sick or injured are given medical or surgical <br /> <br /> care. Emergency room medical treatment is usually provided. <br /> CONVALESCENT HOSPITAL <br /> Convalescent hospitals are freestanding institutions designed to provide medical care for patients <br /> <br /> with long-term illnesses. Normally such hospitals do not provide emergency room medical <br /> <br /> treatment. <br /> HOUSE OF WORSHIP <br /> <br /> A house of worship such as a church or synagogue may include aschool, aday-care center, <br /> meeting rooms, a ministerial residence, and various other activities. <br /> INDUSTRIAL <br /> BUSINESS PARK <br /> A grouping of industrial or office units, which may include local serving commercial facilities. <br /> SMALL INDUSTRIAL FACILITY <br /> A plant (or group of plants) of under 100,000 squaze feet, situated on a lot of less than eight <br /> gross acres. Small industrial facilities may be located in an industrial park or light industrial <br /> area. Small amount of local serving commercial is included. <br /> LARGE INDUSTRIAL FACILITY <br /> An individual plant of at least 100,000 squaze feet, usually situated on a lot of over eight gross <br /> acres. Large industrial facilities may be located throughout the community. Small amount of <br /> local serving commercial is included. <br /> MANUFACTURING/ASSEMBLY SITES <br /> Sites devoted to conversion of raw materials or semi-finished parts to lazge finished products, <br /> using high-tech machineries. <br /> RENTAL SELF-STORAGE FACILITY <br /> A warehouse establishment, which rents small storage vaults, often termed "mini storage." <br /> SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT <br /> A scientific research and development facility is asingle-tenant facility devoted to the discovery <br /> and development of new products (or the improvement of an existing product). The number of <br /> employees is usually low when compared to other industries. Typical zoning is SR with a <br /> minimum lot size of one acre. <br /> C-4 <br /> <br />
