8. Dept. of Public works let stated that the contractor is demo. .zing his equipment would <br /> cost the county extra money should they decide to include Kaapoko Hmstd. Rd. at a later date. This <br /> is a dead end road "Mauka" which should never be a pollution source. <br /> A. Cost effective bids never bid their cost of equipment into this discussion as it is part of their <br /> portion of the business. <br /> 9. It would be to the benefit of the County to set this aside to look at this for the long term and do <br /> <br /> their own cost analysis which would have more merit and could be discussed and an intelligent <br /> solution could best serve the population. <br /> 10. It would better serve the County to: <br /> 1. Insure that adequate funds currently available replace the roads torn up are properly <br /> replaced. <br /> 2. Extend the lines further either makai of the belt road to prevent further ocean pollution or <br /> along the belt road toward Onamea to serve the newly approved subdivisions. <br /> <br />
