EXHIBIT "A" - KAILUA VILLAGE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT <br /> DISTRICT PLAN <br /> Amendments to the Kailua Village Business Improvement District Plan, attached as <br /> Exhibit "A" to Bill No. 55 were also made to conform with the proposed amendments to <br /> Bill No. 55, as noted below: <br /> 22. Paragraph 2: The District Association and District Board. <br /> - Deletes section number "-32" from reference to Chapter "414D{-32]", Hawaii <br /> Revised Statutes. <br /> - Adds reference that the County of Hawaii Kailua Village Business <br /> Improvement District is "(hereinafter referred to as the "District")" throughout <br /> the Plan. <br /> - Reference to "Association" was changed to "District Association" throughout <br /> the Plan. <br /> - Reference to "Plan" was changed to "District Plan" throughout the Plan. <br /> 23. Paragraph 2, subparagraph b), reference to "Board" was changed to "District Board" <br /> throughout the Plan. <br /> 24. Paragraph 2, subparagraph b), clauses i), ii) and iv) were amended as follows: <br /> "i) There shall be 11 voting [diree~ers]members. <br /> ii) The voting [d#eeters]members shall represent the fee simple owners and lessees <br /> of land and tenants of commercial space within the district along with the mayor <br /> (or mayor's designee), and the council member of the district within which the <br /> maiority of the land area within which the district is located (or the council <br /> member's designated representative). <br /> iv) The District Board shall also include these nonvoting members: the director of <br /> public works (or the director's designated representative)[,] and the director of <br /> finance (or the director's designated representative)r °~a °F <br /> <br />
