No. 170Bi11 No. 48 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa <br /> 78-128 `Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 2:03 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 48, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 48, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 170, dated <br /> February 5, 2007, amends Ordinance No. 06-80, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending June 30, 2007, by adding <br /> the following project: <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: <br /> Honoka`a Large Capacity 110.699.5693.18 [$600,000] $1,200,000 <br /> Cesspool Replacement <br /> Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from: <br /> General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - $ 600,000 <br /> Fund Balance and/or other Sources <br /> This bill will be appropriating an additional $600,000 to the project which involves the design and installation of <br /> new sewer mains and a new Wastewater Treatment Plant in order to meet Environmental Protection Agency <br /> requirements in eliminating large capacity cesspools.
