<br /> The effectiveness of this project will also be monitored through documentation of work <br /> light and emergency traffic sign usage and the total time it takes a vehicle accident victim <br /> to begin transport to an emergency room from the time of arrival of an Engine Company. <br /> National Emergency Medical Services standards set a maximum 10-minute scene time <br /> for critical trauma victims. This project hopes to bring all Engine Companies to within <br /> acceptable national standards (NFPA 1670). <br /> Monitoring will be accomplished through the use of our electronic records management <br /> system. <br /> <br />
