This increase in appropriation reflects the updated allocation to be received from the <br /> US Department of Housing and Urban Development for the period July 1, 2006 through June <br /> 30, 2007 for the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program. The $ 600,000 is to be used <br /> for payment of rental assistance for eligible participants of the program.
