REQUEST: <br /> The Office of Housing and Community Development is requesting the appropriation of $ 600,000.00 to <br /> Housing Voucher Program (Account Number 152.3301.54). This amount represents the increase in <br /> revenues received from the US Department of Housing and Urbran Development to be used for Housing <br /> Assistance Payment subsidies, and is to cover the expenditure account number 152-461.5466.30.371, <br /> Voucher rental subsidies) . <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The increase in appropriation reflects the updated allocation to be received from the US Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development for the period July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 for the Housing Choice <br /> Voucher (Section 8) Program. The $ 600,000.00 is to be used for payment of rental assistance for eligible <br /> participants of the program.
