The establishment of the Business Improvement District in <br /> Kailua-Kona area, will provide a mechanism to implement creative solutions to <br /> improve the cleanliness, attractiveness, safety and economic vibrancy of Kailua <br /> Village by assessing landowners, lessees of land, commercial tenants and <br /> residents within the District to finance these improvements and programs. <br /> This initiative if implemented will enhance the quality of life of the residents, <br /> businesses, visitors and workers within the Kailua Village by providing them with <br /> clean, safe and enjoyable environment in which to live, work, play and conduct <br /> business. <br /> We urged you to pass Bill 55. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Jane Testa <br /> Director <br /> <br />
