No. 247-07 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 9:41 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 247-07, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 247-07, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication <br /> <br /> No. 500, dated June 25, 2007, authorizes the acceptance of a donation in the amount of <br /> $10,956.00 from the Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation to the Hawaii Fire Department. <br /> The funds are designated to purchase new flight helmets, equipped with communication devices, <br /> for the pilots of the rescue helicopter based at Waiakea Station, and the pilots of the <br /> rescue/aeromedical helicopter pilots based at South Kohala Station. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of money, securities, or other personal property or real <br /> estate or any interest in real estate. <br /> A letter of appreciation will be sent to The Daniel R.
