We <br /> think the points raised by the Leeward Planning Conference, among others, merit cazeful <br /> evaluation. <br /> That said, we also understand the need for action to comply with the National Flood Insurance <br /> Program. <br /> Our recommendation is for Council to act on those parts that are required to comply with NFIP <br /> immediately; after that pressure is relieved, take up any additional amendment proposals. <br /> Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce offers the Council whatever assistance we can provide. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> U G- <br /> Bazbara A.
