It is anticipated that the County will only be awarded $2,000,000, instead of <br /> $3,000,000, of SRF funding for the Komohana Heights Large Capacity Cesspool (LCC) <br /> Replacement project. Also, recent geotechnical data for the project indicates the existence of <br /> hard basaltic rock formations throughout the project area. Therefore the anticipated <br /> construction costs will be higher than previously estimated. Previously, $350,000 was <br /> appropriated for the County's share of this project. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Capital Budget by appropriating an additional <br /> $1,308,000 to the County's share of the Komohana Heights LCC Replacement project.
