REQUEST: <br /> Request to amend Ordinance 07-83 Capital Improvement Budget, to increase the appropriation for the <br /> following project: <br /> Komohana Heights LCC Replacement (110.699.5691.66) -County from $350,000 to $1,658,000 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> A Project Data/Financial Impact Statement is attached. <br /> The County was recently notified that the availability of SRF funding has been severely limited due to the <br /> award of SRF funding for several City and County of Honolulu projects which has drained available funding. <br /> It is anticipated that the County will be awarded $2,000,000 of SRF funding for this project rather than the <br /> $3,000,000 originally hoped for. <br /> Recent geotechnical data for the project indicates the existence of hard basaltic rock formations throughout <br /> the project area. Therefore, it is anticipated that construction costs will be higher than previously estimated. <br /> The additional $1,308,000 needed in G.O.
