If more space is needed, use a blank sheet and attach to this form. <br /> Show <br /> Under general supervision of the Community Policing Lieutenant, the Clerk III will be responsible for all clerical <br /> support to the Community Policing Section, which is comprised of community police officers, school resource <br /> officers and the two PO II's assigned to the HI-PAL program, and Traffic Enforcement Unit to include payroll, of time. <br /> requisitions, preparing, checking, reviewing and processing various fiscal and departmental forms, records, and <br /> materials, and other related duties as required. <br /> 1. Maintains UniUSection payroll records. Reviews Attendance Records and accurately transposes entries from <br /> the Time and Attendance Report into the computerized "FRESH" Payroll program for the Community Policing <br /> Section and Traffic Enforcement Unit personnel for the semi-monthly payroll; obtains, verifies, and tracks Leave of <br /> Absence forms, doctor certificates, and other corresponding payroll documents (FMLA, Military Leave, Temporary <br /> Assignment, Disciplinary Orders, etc. from personnel to maintain accurate record-keeping of time and attendance; <br /> required to have knowledge of contractual provisions to interpret overtime and other claims; maintains and <br /> reconciles Individual Overtime Records and leave balances to ensure accurate allocation for attendance and payroll <br /> data; prepares correction memorandums regarding amendments to any payroll data. Distributes semi-monthly <br /> paychecks/pay stubs and corresponding enclosures to employees. Prepares payroll data sheets for special 40% <br /> assignments and grants. Prepares required Section/Unit reports on a monthly basis or as required. (1,2,3,4) <br /> 2. Prepares requisitions for supplies and materials which are not available from department storeroom; maintains <br /> Section/Unit records of property inventory. Maintains and used discretion in replenishing all Section/Unit stores and <br /> supplies and printed forms. Confrms billing for vehicles towed, maintenance of Section/Unit vehicles, coroner's 15% <br /> transport and autopsies; answers telephones. Assist in preparing Section/Unit budgets by providing statistical data <br /> and researching information.
