Cu~r~;;aly t•,atre s <br /> inadequate parking available. <br /> Given the fact that October is Breast Cancer Awareness' month - it is especi<rl ly auspicious <br /> that I'm writing the Hawaii County Council on. the following subject matter. <br /> That the Women's imaging Center is about to invest in nnillion-dollar imagin,; e~a;riomen,-.:;~llhrct <br /> "1Jigital. Mammography" it will most likely create an even. more drastic need tc~ ~~:c:om lrc.xiatc; <br /> parking. With this new equipment thousands of more women could be screen; cl `^s- brf i , <br /> cancer. As I understand, this type of equipment is fast & incredibly more effici °rst in dr te~~'t~rt! <br /> eazly signs of breast cancer. <br /> Currently, one must fly to )'Ionolulu to get screened for breast cancer with 101~~ do;a~:e <br /> mammography equipment. Digital ma~umogaphy images can easily be prefonrlk:c usir.,;'.'I~e <br /> computer. Myself, I've a MAJOR conceal with radiation exposure-in fact P~~e. n wer 1-rs:] a <br /> mammography--due to my apprehension regarding radiation.
