Whenever base flood <br /> elevations increase or decrease or result in a mappable <br /> alteration of the boundaries of any special flood hazard <br /> area, as a result of physical changes affecting flooding <br /> conditions, as soon as nractical, but no later than six <br /> months after the date such information becomes available, <br /> the floodplain administrator shall notify the Federal <br /> [ Emer~ency Manaeement <br /> Aeency of the changes by submitting technical or scientific <br /> data through the Letter of Map Revision process.
