Bowman, of Council District 9 to the Hawai'i County Planning <br /> Commission. Ms. Bowman is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. She presently works as an AVID <br /> (Advancement Via Individual Determination) tutor at Kohala Middle School. Ms. Bowman is also the <br /> program coordinator of Kohala's Project Venture and the program coordinator of Healthy Foods Hawaii. <br /> She has been involved in many planning efforts for North Kohala. Ms. Bowman states that she is a <br /> Republican. If confirmed, Ms. Bowman will serve a term to end on December 31, 2012, replacing <br /> Mr. William Graham, whose term will expire expire on December 31, 2007. <br /> 1 would also like to re-nominate Shelly H. A. Ogata, of Council District 3 to the Hawai'I County Planning <br /> Commission. Ms. Ogata, 36-year resident of Hawai'i, is presently a loan consultant at Home Loan <br /> Hawai'i.com, Inc. From 2003 to 2006, she was a loan processor at Pacific Mortgage and Loans. <br /> Ms. Ogata is the current chairperson of the State Council on Mental Health, and is a member of the Child <br /> and Adolescent Mental Health Task Force. Ms. Ogata states that she is not affiliated with any political <br /> party. She is currently a member of this commission, serving out the remaining term of a previous <br /> commission member who resigned. Her current term will end on December 31, 2007, and pursuant to a <br /> recent Charter amendment, Ms. Ogata is eligible for reappointment to another term after December 31, <br /> 2007.
