Boren, a retiree, is a nine-year resident of Hawai'i. Mr. Boren is <br /> on the Board of Directors of the Bridge House Facility, a tutor with the Kona Literacy Council <br /> and a member of Friends for Fitness. He states that he is a member of the Democratic Party. If <br /> confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2012, replacing Ms. Marjorie Erway <br /> whose term will expire on December 31, 2007. <br /> Council District 8 - Steven Okoji is a 32-year resident of Hawai'i. Since 1997, he has been <br /> employed by the State Department of Health, working in the Solid Hazardous Waste Branch <br /> (1997-1998), the Hazardous Evaluation Emergency Response (Remedial Project Manager <br /> 1998-1999), the Clean Air Branch (1999-2004) and the Sanitation Branch (Registered <br /> Sanitarian, 2004 - present). Mr. Okoji states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If <br /> confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2012, replacing Carolyn A.
